Terms of Service
1. Who we are
Smart Business Services (Pty) Ltd, trading as Smatbiz ("we", "us"), of 29 Wallace Street, Goodwood, Cape Town, 7460, sells prewritten business plan toolkits as digital downloads to customers in South Africa. By purchasing from this website you agree to these terms.
2. What you are buying
Each toolkit is a digital product: an editable Word business plan, a 5-year financial model in Excel, a pitch deck template in PowerPoint and a how-to guide. Products are delivered by download link immediately after successful payment, with a backup link sent to your email address.
3. Licence of use
Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the toolkit for your own business, funding applications and internal planning. You may not resell, redistribute, or share the files, or offer them (edited or unedited) as your own product or service to third parties.
4. No guarantee of funding
Our plans follow the structure South African funders and banks assess against, but funding decisions depend on your business, your profile and the funder’s criteria. We do not guarantee approval of any application.
5. Payment
Payments are processed by Payfast. We never see or store your card or banking details. Prices are shown in South African rand and are the final amount payable — there are no additional charges at checkout.
6. Custom plans
Custom plan work is quoted and agreed on WhatsApp before any payment. Custom work includes one revision round; further revisions are quoted separately. Delivery timelines start from receipt of payment and your complete business information.
7. Liability
Toolkits are professional planning resources, not financial, legal or investment advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned.

Privacy Policy
1. What we collect
When you buy, we collect your name, email address and optionally your WhatsApp number — the minimum needed to deliver your files and provide support. Payment details are handled entirely by Payfast and never reach our servers.
2. How we use it
We use your details to deliver your download, send your receipt, and provide support you request. If you bought from us we may send occasional, relevant product emails — every email has a working unsubscribe link.
3. POPIA
We process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). The responsible party is Smart Business Services (Pty) Ltd, 29 Wallace Street, Goodwood, Cape Town, 7460. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing sales@smatbiz.co.za.
4. Sharing
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the store (payment processing, email delivery) and where the law requires.
5. Cookies & analytics
This site sets no cookies. Your selected plan is kept in your own browser’s local storage until checkout and never reaches us before then. We do not run advertising or third-party tracking.
6. Retention & security
Order records are kept as required by tax law. Data is stored on secured, access-controlled systems. If a breach affecting your data ever occurs, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.
Digital downloads
Refund Policy
1. Digital products
Because our toolkits are instant digital downloads, we cannot offer refunds once a file has been downloaded — a downloaded product cannot be returned.
2. Bought the wrong plan?
It happens. WhatsApp us within 48 hours of purchase and we will swap your plan for the correct industry, once, free of charge.
3. Payment without delivery
If you paid but did not receive your download link (check spam first), contact us with your payment reference. We will resend the link immediately, or refund you in full if we cannot deliver the product.
4. Duplicate payments
Accidental duplicate payments for the same product are refunded in full to the original payment method, usually within 5–7 working days.
5. Custom plan work
Deposits on custom work are refundable in full before writing starts. Once writing has started, refunds are pro-rated to work not yet done.
6. How to claim
WhatsApp 065 643 3410 or email sales@smatbiz.co.za with your order number and payment reference. We respond within one working day.
